I am not alone…
There are several people on this years’ election ballot who believe in the same things that I do:
- Smaller, bottom up government
- Local control
- Quality education for all
I’d like to introduce you to a couple of women running for local state senate seats who will bring these ideals to Hartford with me when they are elected.
Meet Ellie Kousidis running for the 25th District (Norwalk / Darien) and Eva Maldonado running for the 27th District (Stamford / Darien).
Ellie has spent the past 15 years as an urban educator and knows what it takes to make a positive impact. She is committed to stopping forced regionalization of our schools and maintain local control. She seeks pro-growth economic policies aimed squarely at bringing jobs back to our state. Ellie supports our police and wants our communities to stay safe. She will fight in Hartford to overturn the anti-police legislation that is against our interests. She is running to defeat incumbent Bob Duff. Learn more about Ellie on her website.
Eva Maldonado is a former law enforcement officer as well as an active community leader and volunteer who strongly believes that our civil liberties are at risk. She will support her constituents by listening to them and honoring their voices and views. Eva will represent the district with a passion to help the people. She is running to defeat Carl Leone. Learn more about Eva on her website.
Both of these women and I are tired of the 40+ years of partisan rule in Hartford, sick of the Democratic rhetoric with no accountability or transparency, frustrated with the reckless way that Connecticut’s finances have been managed and we are ready to work tirelessly to turn our state around for our constituents and our communities.
We also believe that working together works!
If you have any questions about Ellie or Eva or want to learn more, please do not hesitate to let me know or feel free to reach out to them directly.
Many thanks for your continued support!
